Impact Rattle guns are known as an impactor, impact gun, air wrench, air gun, Impact Wrench, cordless impact gun , torque gun, windy gun is a socket wrench power tool designed to deliver high torque output with minimal exertion by the user, by storing energy in a rotating mass, then delivering it suddenly to the output shaft.
Unfortunately vibration is the biggest issue along with its accuracy not been reliable or repeatable.
These should be used for undoing bolts and fasteners and only considered for low pre-torque only and a RAD torque gun be used for final bolt torque.
As these are widely used in many industries they still form a quick and affordable solution to many.
